Here is an example on turning a negative into a positive.

It turns out I am pretty good at breaking down complex topics in a way that creatives can understand and grasp them easily.

This is partially because I write so many books I have become an effective communicator.

However, more so it came from being very bad at business for a lot of years and making every mistake in the book.

It came from reading a ton of business books and not understanding anything in them.

It came from researching and then trying to replicate things I found horribly.

It came from bankrupting three companies before I was 30.

Because I made every mistake in the book, I have been able to have a wide breadth of experiences, and worked my way out of them.

I was in the darkness for years, way longer than most successful people I know, and because of that, I have taken way too many badcourses, read too many crappy books, and tried too many stupid strategies that didn't pay off.

It sucked going…
